To honor our Veteran’s and their families, our office will be closed on Monday, November 12th. We will resume our normal hours on Tuesday, November 13th. Thank you to all of our Veteran’s that have served our country- allowing us the freedom to provide the American Dream of Home Ownership.
We would like to especially thank a couple of Veterans that are close to our hearts here at Hattiesburg Area Habitat for Humanity. Mike and Lucinda Pascarella met while serving in the Army in Germany in 1991. Jump ahead to 2001, right before Mike’s retirement from the US Army after 20 years of service, they both began to volunteer with Habitat and caught “Habititis” as we all say! Now, 10 years later, Mike is our Construction Manager and also our Executive Director and Lucinda is our Family Services Committee Chair. Together, the Pascarellas have served our country well! Now they continue that spirit of service through their work with Habitat for Humanity!

Lee Anne thank you for your nice comments! You are so sweet! Mike and I are so thankful for our Army days. Our days in the military have shaped who we are today. The most importantant things in our lives are God, our kids, the entire military experience and now Habitat! We are diseased with red, white and blue bood and Habititus!
