Faith Relations Committee Members Needed
Hattiesburg Area Habitat for Humanity is seeking service-oriented
individual’s to help serve on a rewarding committee that helps to
connect all people of faith in a Christian-based organization!!!
Help us to make
this year a year of building on faith!
Where:
Habitat for Humanity office at 5191 Highway 42
Who:
Anyone with 1 hour a week to contribute along with a desire
to share the Habitat story with others. We’ll provide the tools you
need to be an informed, comfortable advocate for Habitat.
What:
Committee members:

Reach out
to faith communities to update them on Habitat’s work and invite
them to become involved.
…
Help
faith communities to schedule work days and Habitat presentations to
their missions/outreach committee, Sunday school class, or
congregation.
…
Join with
other committee members in organizing events such as prayer
breakfasts and church bazaars in support of Habitat.
…
Provide insight about their own faith tradition to Habitat, helping Habitat to
broaden its understanding of and connection to faith communities
throughout the areas of Hattiesburg.
